My mother has never been happier. She was welcomed and made to feel right at home. She loves the outings and other activities they have for the residents. Our whole family is very pleased with the friendly and caring staff. We found a real gem, when we chose to place our mother at Wesley Manor assisted living. It was surprisingly affordable. As a Non-Profit they are truly committed to the residents and not concerned about turning a profit for some distant stock holders. This place is an asset to our entire community. If you are looking for a place fore your elderly family member check them out. I think you will be glad you did.read more

My friend fell at a nursing home in Louisville- we needed to move him to a place where he would be cared for like family. Trina went above and beyond to find a spot for him. She had the medical team ready for him when he arrived. He was paralyzed on one side and communication was difficult. She was very professional providing guidance and care after he fell and broke his hip at the other nursing home. Thank you and your staff for caring so much for someone important to me.read more

My mother was in there about 2 years ago she was in a room it was dark and dingy and very depressing. I seen where they would put the walkers when they ate out of reach. Wish I understood. But when they get done eating I've have seen a few residents have too get up and get there walks them self. I have worked in a nursing home and I have seen what other do not observe. Personally I would a zero.read more

Very rude and unprofessional. My mother called to collect information after her father passed here under their watch. Upon calling this establishment and speaking to Trina who obviously hates her job and has an attitude with anyone calling them, we were given a response of “Dunno, he died.” We called back and spoke with Bobbi the charge nurse and got a similar response of “just says he died.” They couldn’t give us a time as we got “it was during 3rd shift so before I got here sometime before 11:30pm,” and “well, looks like it was after midnight, probably close to 12:30a.” Not once did any employment we spoke to ever say sorry for your loss or offer any condolences. Please, do your loved ones a favor and DO NOT subject them to these individuals. My grandfather was placed here by his girlfriend and POA against his families wishes as we were in the process of fighting to get him moved to Texas with us.read more

I would like to complain about the employee that works in admission named Trina. She is your first contact of the facility in admissions. Every time I had a conversation with her on the phone she spoke to me like I was stupid. She had an attitude with me everytime for no reason too. I'm glad my grandmother isn't going to be going there. I wouldn't want to have to deal with someone that rude everytime I needed help when she was there.read more

I would highly recommend Wesley Manor. Our Uncle Jack was with the facility a short time due to his declining health and he told us that the staff was excellent and treated him with respect and dignity. He stated that the food was great and he was happy there. Due to COVID, we weren’t able to visit but the staff made sure that we could talk to him every time we called. Once Uncle Jack was in his last hours, we were able to be by his side and the love from all the staff was unremarkable and showed us personally how well he was treated. The staff came in every few minutes checking on Uncle Jack, turning him, and singing to him, then asking us is there anything we need or want? We want to personally thank everyone that was involved with the care of Jack. Wesley Manor has our vote. Thanks and God Bless. The Pearl Family.read more

My parents have been residents in the Wesley Manor patio home for the last four years, and my father had the need to stay in their short term assisted living unit for a month. Their experiences have been wonderful! The patio homes are lovely--spacious and well maintained and set in a park-like setting. The staff is highly responsive, personal, and very kind. I have been consistently impressed, especially with Jerry Hoganson, the president at Wesley Manor who takes a very personal hand in the operations, and models the care and concern that is reflected throughout the staff. Every Friday morning, Jerry makes pancakes for the WM community, and when a main water pipe broke off-site which shut down water at the patio homes, Jerry personally delivered a gallon of water to each property. This is a small, personable retirement community without the bells and whistles of larger, more pricey establishments. Highly recommend!read more

IS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. MY MOTHER AND I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET MY DAD OUT OF THE HOSPITAL FOR ALMOST A WEEK ... AFTER NO RETURNED PHONE CALLS YESTERDAY OR TODAY, I DECIDED TO JUST GO TO THE FACILITY AND SPEAK FACE TO FACE WITH SOMEONE TO FIND OUT THE PROBLEM . AFTER WAITING NEARLY 30 MINUTES, NIKI THE DIRECTOR OF NURSING APPEARS AND SAYS "SHE AINT GOT NO PAPERWORK. AND AINT HAD TIME TO RETURN NO PHONE CALLS"because he was technically dismissed yesterday, he HAS to now leave today. SO NOW INSTEAD OF BEING IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD LITERALLY AROUND THE CORNER, HE'S GOING TO BE FARTHER AWAY FROM HOME FOR HIS REHAB STAY.THEY REALLY NEED TO GET IT TOGETHER BECAUSE THE BALL WAS DROPPED IN OUR SITUATION. CAN I GIVE A NEGATIVE RATING??read more

I had plans on bringing a loved one here until I found out these terrible things. The staff are very unprofessional. They constantly yell vulgarities as loud as they possibly can no matter what time of day it is. You hear hateful statements from staff regarding race, religion, politics and the patients. They DO NOT answer call lights often times as they are off sleeping somewhere. They are constantly disappearing to sleep while on the clock. Probably a result of being over worked since they are always understaffed and needing their employees to work overtime. Some of the staff leave the premises while on the clock and stay gone for 2+hours without telling anyone. I have seen one employee take pictures of a resident and post it on social media without permission from the resident or family member. I know this place used to be one of the best. In the last several years it has plummeted drastically and horrifically due to the type of staff they have started to hire.read more
